The Positiveness – Blog Trailer

POSITIVENESS: hermaphroditic noun, which reminds of one thing but it means the opposite. Apparently it recalls positive thinking, a power of optimism to help with stress management. Wrong.

Positiveness is certainty, acceptance, affirmation; the propeller which let us move forward, in a direction of increase or progress. No fragile fatalism, but the weight of reality. This word is what I believe in.

Born in Italy, I developed an open glance thanks to a wandering childhood and adolescence around the globe. Absorbing different ways of living left me with a great gift: neutrality when looking at other cultures and people, in order to be able to perceive the real nature of things. Maybe this is the reason why I find each simple entity unique and interesting, something to focus on by writing or photographing. Curiosity is my vice and virtue. I tend to see what most don’t, try to make sense of the senseless and impose shape to the shapeless. 
This is why the blog was born, a multimedia extension of me, in everyday focuses.

POSITIVENESS: sostantivo ermafrodita e falso amico della lingua italiana (non vuol dire "positività"). Sembrerebbe ricordare il pensare positivo, un potere dell’ottimismo per aiutare a gestire lo stress. Nulla di più errato.

Positiveness è certezza, accettazione, affermazione; propulsore che ci permette di andare avanti, in una direzione di aumento o di progresso. Non è fragile fatalismo, ma il peso della realtà. Questa parola è ciò in cui credo.

Nata in Italia, ad un’infanzia e adolescenza girovaga devo lo sguardo aperto. Assorbire modi diversi di vivere mi ha riservato un grande dono: la neutralità nel guardare alle culture e alle persone, essendo capace di percepire la vera natura delle cose. Forse questo è il motivo per cui trovo ogni semplice entità unica e interessante, qualcosa su cui porre l’obiettivo, scrivendo o fotografando. La curiosità è il mio vizio e la mia virtù. Tendo a vedere ciò che molti non vedono, cerco di dare un senso all’insensato e imporre una forma all’informe. 
Su questa trama nasce il blog, un'estensione multimediale di me, nei focus della vita di ogni giorno.
