Tomorrow has come. On 24 and 25 february Italian citizens can and must express their right to vote who will represent them. It is the first time I vote and I feel like I'm going to remember this first time - and not only because it is the first... Indeed we will remember this historical period for better or for worse: it is time to change.
Here are some tips for who, like me, is novice to this great responsibility and opportunity. Don't let it fade away. So:
- Revise how to vote and what is its mechanism to let any doubt vanish away: it is relevant to know how influent each vote can be and which effects it can produce on the future government. 
- Take notice of the election program of each party and consider how they can channel your opinion about different issues. Also, don't look exclusively at the people, but at the facts. 
- Don't forget to take part of any political debate (between friends, parents, people in general who don't share your point of view): it is useful to deepen your knowledge and weigh the balance of inevitable pros and cons of each program. 
- Never think and decide in a short-term perspective: it's the future of your country what we are talking about. We must look forward for a long-term potentiation and evolution.  
- Last but not least, trust your vote!

Domani è arrivato. Il 24 e 25 febbraio i cittadini italiani possono e devono esprimere il loro diritto di votare che li rappresenterà. È la prima volta che voto e ho come l'impressione che me la ricorderò questa prima volta - e non solo perché è la prima... In effetti ci ricorderemo questo periodo storico nel bene o nel male: è il momento di cambiare.
Ecco alcuni suggerimenti per chi, come me, è alle prime armi dinanzi a questa grande responsabilità e opportunità. Non lasciamocela svanire. Quindi:
- Rivedere come si vota e qual è il meccanismo in modo da cancellare ogni dubbio: è importante sapere come influenzerà ogni voto e quali effetti può produrre sul futuro governo.
- Prendere nota dei programmi elettorali di ciascun partito e considerare come questi possano incanalare la vostra opinione in merito a diverse questioni. Inoltre, non guardare esclusivamente alle persone, ma ai fatti.
- Non dimenticare di prendere parte a un dibattito politico (tra amici, genitori, persone in generale che non condividono il tuo punto di vista): è utile per approfondire la vostra conoscenza e pesare la bilancia dei pro e dei contro inevitabili di ogni programma.
- Non pensare né decidere secondo una prospettiva a breve termine: è il futuro del proprio paese ciò di cui stiamo parlando. Dobbiamo guardare in avanti per un potenziamento e evoluzione a lungo termine.
- Ultimo ma non meno importante, abbi fiducia nel tuo voto!
